    Terminology

I wanted to outline the terminology we will adhere to when describing parts of a website or application.

    Partial

First, I have been using the term "partial" for the last several years when referring to any part of the webpage that is included at any point in a template.  This designation immediately brings up our first choice.  The "architecture" is considered MVP (or some variation).  I had experimented in the past with referrring to tempaltes as "views".

    Templates

"Template" is a standard term for a unique variation of a website, and since we are, for now website focused, we will utlize the term "template" to refer to TYPE of webpage.  For example, Home page, or Universal page, or Blog page.  Since I was in the ProcessWire world for a number of years, I came to appreciate the simplicity of everything being a page, and, in fact, when it comes to WordPress everything seems to boil down to a post of some type.  With Blueprint, we will primarily adhere to the "everything is a page" mentality, although there may be some instances where we would like to utilize Custom Post Types.

    Component

A component is a self-contained, reusable unit of structure and behavior that represents a single, coherent part of a system.  (Thanks chatGPT)

    Partials Components Pattern

I historically peferred the term "partial" but then there are components, and elements, and patterns, some people
say blocks... I am sticking with partials as a general label. It is a partial section of a page.

Elements and Components get blurred, but I think an element is a component but a component is not always an

I would also introduce the term "component stack" which is a collection of components that would be stacked in a column type context.

For example, https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.3/examples/features/ there is icon, heading, text, and button. This is a component stack.
